Tragus Piercing
I am a big fan of piercing. Although as of this moment I only have three. (My lobes done once in each and my belly button). I am getting my tragus pierced before my 14th birthday and before we go back to school. (In case you don't know tragus equals that little flap of skin on your ear). And I am just wondering what it is like? (For those who have it done). I don't care about the pain, I just want to know how everything went with it. Like how long it took to heal, did it ache for a week, two weeks, three weeks, and ect ect. (Pain is irrelative). Also, do you think the left or right side? I know it is up to me but I just want some more opinions. I am leaning towards the left side, what do you think? Thanks for letting me know!

Hey everyone! Thanks for all your responses! I have my tragus pierced now! And in case you were wondering, I got my left one pierced. I know exactly what I want to do to my ears. Me and my Best friend, Midge, (aka Jenny on here, she posted) are going to get our daiths pierced when we are 18. I am going to get 3 cartilage piercings (2 in the tragus ear, one in the middle on the other with the daith) anyways thanks again

I have my right tragus pierced and it doesn't hurt one bit, I didn't even know that my piercer was done it she had to tell me - -. I'm planning on going to get my right one done pretty soon. Mine took about 3-4 months to heal and I slept on it the same night I got it. You shouldn't do that but I did and I mean it didn't even hurt me one bit. It is a very easy piercing to heal as long as you take good care of it. Once it is healed it is such a :)ly piercing to have. You should decide for yourself what side that you want to get done because it will be representing you not what everyone has to tell you. Well you should e-mail me and tell me how it went. blink_me_41@ hotmail.com

Um, for me neither of mine hurt that bad, though some people say it does and you can hear a 'crunch' when it goes through (didn't hear that either). My mother also said it didn't hurt that bad. It did take a while to heal though. I got them done in November of when I was 16...sooooo...I think 1998 or whatever...and they didn't really heal until January of 1999. So um, roughly 2-3 months it sucked. I had a lot of problems and you have to watch for keloids. I still have them and it's been a few years and I haven't had any problems for a long time...so in the long run I guess it's worth it.

if i'm right, the tragus is the cartilage of the ear. right? well if it is, about 2 weeks ago, i got my left "TRAGUS" pierced and just yesterday i got my right 1 pierced 2. just 2 tell u, when they pierce it, it hurts a lil more than the lobes. and i'm not going 2 scare u with telling u bout my right cartilage piercing. so good luck and hope u like it. buh byes
