Why are there all these girls complaining about being not allowed to wear short shorts? Just buy the longer shorts then roll them up when your parents aren't around. My mom doesn't like me wearing shorts shorter than mid-thigh, so I just roll them up when she's not around like when I'm at the mall with my friends. Their parents don't like short shorts either so they do the same thing. There are also stores at the mall that sell the high-thigh length shorts, so why don't people just go buy a cheap pair that they can wear around that day and then chuck before their parents see? By just rolling your shorts up, you can wear short shorts and please your parents.

I let common sense and decency decide what I wear. It's strange that parents are worried about shorts? Do they actually say "Don't buy/wear that?" My parents would never say that! But seriously, it looks cheap when your cheeks are sagging out the bottom.

i dont agree with someones post about the only people who dont like short shorts all being fat. i think that they just dont want to seem slutty. short shorts are slutty, especially if you ARE fat and are showing alot of leg. i wear short shorts and like them, but im a slut and im with that. i only wear them with fishnets

yeah i agree with the rolling-up thing. i soffe shorts! they're really cheap and comfy and u can roll em up really easily!

my moms with me wearin bootie shorts but my stepdad has a fit so I just put em on under a longer skirt and when i get outta the house....freedom! I just luv em!

That would suck if my parents didn't let me wear short shorts.....I them. My mom would only have a problem if my ass was hangin out but then the shorts kinda look pathetic and desperate.......short shorts are good enough. But that little comment on the end about buying a pair of cheap shorts and chucking them.....eh....i dunno about where u live but cheap shorts here are like......$30 i know thats not THAT much but its too much to be chucking in the end!!!

I don't know about you guys, but in my area, it's not the parents who aren't allowing girls to where short shorts, it's the schools. I for one, do think a girl in short shorts is very attractive however...

I for one LOVE a girl in a pair of daisy-dukes, aka short shorts. I dont see why parents have such a problem, they let there kids wear short skirts, but not short shorts? They both expose leg, the shorts expose the butt a lot too, but someone can easily see up/in a skirt. I hate when girls wear thoes long shorts, it looks so boy-ish. I see plenty of girls w/ short shorts these days, and it definatly catches my eye
