Vidal Sassoon - Professional Waver
I was given the chance to review Vidal Sassoon's new "High Heat Tourmaline Professional Fashion Waver with Ceramic" through TeenFX. Try saying that ten times fast!
Although the "title" of this wonderful waver is lengthy, the time it took to heat up and cool down is not. The waver only took about thirty seconds to reach maximum heat. With tourmaline AND ceramic, you're getting the two best materials for your hair out right now in one easy tool.
The waver makes big, beautiful waves, and is a neat red and black color. I soon realized though that this tool really isn't for curly hair - it would work much better on someone with straight hair, and it would be a neat, different style than big curls for straight hair.
My only qualms with the tool is that the handle to hold the tool is quite bulky, not unmanagable, but bulky. My other worry is the fact that when it heats up, the hot part rests right on the counter! My counter is marble, but if someone was using this and set it on wood, that could be pretty bad.
Otherwise, this is a great tool for achieving a different, quick, and easy style. Other than the few difficulties, I would recommend it!
