Everyone tells me my hair is beautiful, and I agree, but I don't have any ideas of how to fix it. All I ever do is straighten it, put it in a messy bun, or in a ponytail. My hair is somewhat thick and is a little passed my shoulders. Does anyone have any ideas for new and simple styles? I need to get highlights as well. I've tried before, but none of the brands I try work very well. My sister says they don't have enough of the mixture stuff. What are some good brands and do the brush kinds work?

never ever do highlights at home! im a cosmetologist and u should always let a professional do any kind of bleaching. your hair could turn orange and brassy or you could dry it out. it shouldnt cost you over $80 for highlights since ur hair is pretty short. my hair is to the middle of my back and when i used to actually pay for it before i worked in a salon it only cost me $120 every four to six weeks dependin on the growth.

Well, you can first put a pony tail in your hair, leave enough hair on both sides so you can braid that hair, then braid that hair , then coil them in to the ponytail.

wow! i have messy buns and straighten my hair too wow wiked and im 13 to but anyway i left my straighteners at my friends house but what i do is wash it everyday and straighten my hair with the hair dryer its pretty but it will ease ur hair from snapping because wen u sraighten the hair it will course split ends x
