Guy wanting to wear a skirt
Hi, I think the fact that I'm a guy and would like to wear a skirt is not so unusual nowadays. I've read several articles on the web including some on teenfx which suggests it's more common than is realised by some people.
The trouble is, although it might be excepted by some many will probably think it's strange and the skirt won't ever be considered as a unisex item. Now I know there are kilts, but to me they look too bulky and clumsy to be a smart fashionable item. I really would prefer the softer lighter fabric of a skirt. The problem I face is that I keep on window shopping but can never find enough courage to actually go into a fashion shop and buy myself a skirt. Also, as there are so many different types: mini, pencil, bubble, A-line, etc. what would the best type be for a guy? I'm slender build, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and thinking maybe a denim mini, but also I like the look of pencil skirts, but wouldn't want one too long. Maybe about 17 to 20 inches in length.
I am in such a dilemma over this, and even if I managed to buy one, would I be brave enough to wear it out? I guess I'll have to gain the courage if I really want to try a skirt. Of course, I might decide I don't like wearing it after buying one, but at least I would have tried. Better to have tried and failed then to never have tried at all. I wonder if this applies to a guy wanting to wear a skirt though!?
